Cleaning and maintenance instructionsUpdated a month ago

To maximize the lifespan of your Spark Bottle and keep it hygienic and in perfect condition, please follow these care and cleaning tips.

Care for the Spark Bottle

  • Dry regularly and don’t leave it damp for long periods: This helps prevent limescale buildup. If limescale does form, remove it carefully with vinegar or lemon juice.

  • Do not clean in the dishwasher: Thanks to the bottle’s modular design, all areas are easy to reach. Instead, use a soft damp cloth or kitchen sponge with a mild dish soap.

  • Clean the sealing element: The sealing element in the bottle cap can be removed for cleaning. Make sure to reinsert it correctly afterward. Here’s a video on how to clean the sealing element. (Consider making a new video with the updated cap and seal.)

  • Do not soak the carboniser: The carboniser must not be submerged in water. If the fill valve is damp or wet after cleaning, be sure to pat it dry before the next use.

Care for the Refill Station

  • Do not soak or put in the dishwasher: Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners and sharp tools.

  • Let it dry completely: The refill station must be fully dry before the next use.

  • Clean the movable platform: The movable platform can be removed for cleaning. Here’s a video on how to clean the movable platform.
